@jpdenyer on instagram

Not mine, but a beautiful image; I was raised on mythology, discovery and visions. Go to @jpdenyer on Instagram and view my "Stories, and you will see the gallery I brought to you. Thank you.

End Game of Life, Looking At Retirement from a Grasshoppers POV

First, I am so glad to be back here as I have spent the later part of my day trying to get back into this account. However, back I am and glad to be blogging here again.

This has been a year of many things. Triumphs and failures abound. I wonder about the reasons why my life is this way; I find myself frozen sitting in a chair unable to move for long periods when I think about why. I am far from what I think my success should be at this juncture of my life & WHY it is NOT FINE.

Quite by accident I learned about this painting style (the painting on the right) when asked to teach a class; it is called POUR PAINTING. This is my very first one, ever. I used it for my my submission to Her Art Here, a United Airlines contest to award two artists, (one in CA, one in NY) a plane wrap. I had to do a short video (amoung other things much easier to tackle), by talking about myself & why I thought my art should be selected. After 300 or so pre-takes of this video & my son's blessings to sign off on the vid, I sent the whole package off & crossed my fingers. Sadly I was not selected, the "art" they were hoping for was more of a "doodle art"style, than a pour painting. Oh well, another time to win at contests. Pretty painting though & it is forsale!

I have continued do more of these paintings and as per usual to my personality, I push the limits to an extreme. I did EIGHT new paintings for San Diego Comic Con 2019, happily two of the paintings sold!!! The Joker and Reverse Flash (thank you to the buyers!) are the two that sold. I will update more later tonight, this is a promise!

So for now I need to go, life is calling per usual, so I will be back, thanks for reading! --JP

Today's Reveal, Tommrow's Path, the Past Be Damned

Hi.  While I don't know who you are, I want to be friendly, welcoming and have you return time and time again. Thank you for coming to check me out.  I like I have a place to post my artistic adventures as I am going to keep coming back, even when it is hard. And hard is the path the first two months have brought, not soly to me though, just saying outloud. AND... I need to run out to do a very important errand, however this blog is about starts, interuptions and stops or crossing the finish line, as the blog will be completed. So, Sci Fi Fans, this is Star Date: JP 2-14-19:5:31 and I will be back! Happy Valentine's Day, even if you have no one...enjoy the picture.

Hello again, Bring a cup of Coffee and Join Me, it's been awhile.

Thanks for taking a sit, I have been treading water to answer the global question, "Where'd she go?"

Ha!

Had to move twice, dealt with the fires of recent in So Cal, all the other stuff is stuff that happens when you move so if you've moved you get it.  If you haven't, hope you don't move, it can be rough.

Oh and I created three Instagram accounts, ("Of course she did,") I can hear someone saying, and have been busy posting my world to the world and loving it. Two are devoted to me, (@drawisaid & @jpdenyer) focusing on my metopmorphsis into my art, one personal one more business like; the third is a magical company (@cirquainc) that makes water for anything you need water for in the food service and pet industry, espeially coffee tea and now the cannibis world.

Other cliff-notes include real JP Denyer paintings is up for sale, on line, at Etsy, Art Finder and in the real touchy feely world, Hueneme Medical in Port Hueneme, CA; here I sold a beauty, the Turtle!

And...

You can now buy a JP Denyer painting morphed on a wide variety of commercial products via Zazzle.com . My brilliant leap into the marketing of my art closed out last year with zest and fun, do go have a look and of course, get yourself a gift!

So I'm going to go and play more pour paintings. I did these last night and I liked it. Ta ta for now...
